Automator Action: New Folder

I have this workflow that goes like this:
Ask for Text>Set Value of Variable>New Folder>Set Value of Variable
Get Specified Finder Items>Move Finder Items

It works for my purposes and all, but I encountered something peculiar.

When I get the Ask for Text prompt, the workflow proceeds as expected. It creates the new folder as I specify in the text box prompt and moves the files to that new folder. EXCEPT when that folder name happens to end with "/1". When I try to create a folder that ends with that particular text I get an error, can't find "1".

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Upon further testing, the path variable appears to have a directory-naming-scheme-functionality that can be taken advantage of by using the "/" convention. This should be useful.
