Hello,

I have set up a simple Automator workflow which downloads a PDF from a website, saves it to a Dropbox folder and then applies date of creation to the name of the file.

Hoverer I want to apply both date of creation and time. For example:

myfile.pdf 10/02/2013 23/47/53

In Automator it only allows me to choice either date or time. How can I include both date and time in the file name? I am quite new to Automator, so forgive me if there is something obvious I am missing.

Thanks for any help.

Since both the input as well as the result of the "Rename Finder Items" action is specified as "Files/Folders", you can just take two instances of them and combine them by putting one after the other, one of them adding the date, then afterwards the other one adding the time.
