Hello. As mentioned in another thread, I have made this website in iWeb. Since iWeb does not let you change the colour of linked text (normal, visited or hover), I have to manually change the colour value in the CSS file for every page of the site, every time I change it.

Is there some way to automate this?

Thanks!

Your best bet is to open up the Applescript Suite, open the library and search for TextEdit's commands, I'm sure there is something there that can help.

I'll try and whip up an proof-of-concept script and get back to you on what I've found, I've just got to shake this damn cold I have.

Actually, upon consulting the library, it seems that Microsoft Word would be more useful

In case anyone's interested, I've found half a workaround. I still copy and paste manually but:

1) I select all then paste the entire contents of the CSS file (I've worked out that they're all the same on this site
2) I use a Smart Folder so at least they are all in one place.

So I copy my template onto the clipboard, then: double-click, apple-a, apple-v, apple-s, apple-w... rinse & repeat.

Not very elegant but fairly quick and painless.
