I wrote an Automator app that eliminates sub-folders 1x1, but I'd lie to be able to d&d more than 1 top level (host) folder onto the app at a time.
The app was written for the USB stick that my music is on for my car.
The car recognizes 1500 folders max.
Since my stick has subs for each LP of each of 300 or so artists, I'm way over 1500 and many sings aren't found by the cars music app.
Since I can't drop the app here for viewing, I'll do my best with what I have so far.
Variable - host folder
Get Folder contents - repeat for each subfolder found
Filter Finder Items - Kind is not Folder
Move Finder Items - Host Folder - replacing existing files
Variable - host folder
Get Folder contents
Filter Finder Items - Kind is Folder
Move Finder Items to Trash
Right now, if I d&d more than 1 top level (host) folder, all cuts from all sub-folders end up is the 1st Top level folder.
