Is there a free alterntive to the AutoSilent app that can be found in Cydia? All I really need to do I get my iPhone to switch to silent mode at set timeframes, and if possible during meetings according to my Calender.

Thanks in advance.

Anyone?

I was going to purchase the app, but it stated that I can only use the app on the iPhone I use to purchase it and when I update, I have to buy a new Licence. I don't really like the sound of that!

Hey, MyProfiles might do the trick. At 6.99 the price is a little steep but it's feature rich and I'm thinking of getting it myself

MyProfiles looks really good, but does anyone know what it does to your battery, I assume that it is running all the time as a background process to detect location etc, therefore I am guessing that it is gonna drain the battery very quick. Can anyone who uses it comment?

Is that USD or GDP? I think it's a decent app from what I've read, deffo more features than I would ever need/use, but good to know I now have this as an option. Any ideas on the licensing, will i be able to use this if i were to change my iPhone or get an upgrade. I don't mind paying for something, as long as i can use it for as long as I want.
Looks like an awesome app, deffo something to look into.

True. After reading the PDF, i have to say that looks like an awesome app, but how will my battery keep up with this. Anyone?

If I fail to find one that simply switches to Silent at a given time (preferably free ;)) or during a meeting, this will have to be the app.

Keep the suggestions coming guys :D

If $7 is too rich for your blood, you could always stick a cut off headphone jack in your phone when you need it to be silent. I guess its no different that just flipping the switch.

Hahahaha, neva thought of that. Good idea. ;)

I dont mind paying for apps that i use, but if there's a free one that does the exact same thing ... why pay for it???

Anyway, anyone using this care to comment on battery consumption, and the licence (can it be used if I update my phone etc).

Cheers

I would never use it because it requires two additional apps from Rock.
