AV Cables to TV

I am following some guides on how to rip DVDs using Handbrake to ensure maximum quality of movie on my touch 2nd gen. How good is the quality of movie when the AV cables are plugged in and then the movie played on TV?

There must be somebody with AV cables that can tell me.

i use the universal preset on handbrake with constant quality turned up to 63%. i use composite cables to hook the touch up to tv's when we travel. the picture is very good, all things considered.
