All iPads Availability at launch?

I’m looking at getting either the new 11 inch pro or the air but I’m torn between the two. Preferably I would like to see them side by side to see whether the pro screen is worth going for. I know the iPhones sell out for weeks when they launch but are iPads the same?

Its not super essential that I get one at launch but I’m going away shortly after so it would be great to take away with me.

iPads never sell out anymore on release day. So I would expect plenty to be in stock.
