Nope. If you go in store on 28th I doubt they will have even 1 ipad. Especialy that pre order date has been moved to June 7th for people who have yet to pre order and so far stores havent taken pre orders in anywhere except the USA. Even if you order now online you wont get it shipped until June 7th. And once in store I doubt there will be many for a few months.
So answer is 7th of June at the earliest.
You think so? I know it looks like it's in hot demand but I'd expect them to at least have a demo model in the stores.
They will have some in store, but not many, certainly not as many as the American stores had. Apple knows how to play the market. They will want a line; they will want the illusion that you will be able to waltz into an Apple store and pick one up. Remember, after a few weeks of pre-orders the American store delayed the ship date as well.
If you are hoping to turn up at the store to get one, I recommend coming early. There aren't that many Apple stores in Canada and there will likely be people whose pre-orders won't ship until June 7th hoping to get one early and then cancel their pre-order.

They have allocated a certain amount for all of the Apple stores on the 28th. The ones that they had reserved for Pre-Order were sold out yesterday. I would hope that for 9 countries that they would have planned on at least 2 million for the 28th.

Yes, all Canadian Apple stores will have iPad's for sale on the 28th. Each store would have been allocated a certain number before the pre-orders started. However, like the iPad 3G launch in the US, stock will be limited. It's a very good bet they'll sell out on the 28th. So if you really want one on launch day and didn't pre-order, you'll need to line up early.
