This may have been covered but I'll be damned if I can find it.

I am wondering if there has been any news at what the average cost of a app will be from the App Store?

Are we talking $5, $10 or $20 dollars here or it will be entirely up to the application's developer?

The developer sets the price. If they want to give the app away for free Apple doesn't charge them to put the app on the app store. If they charge for an app then Apple gets a percentage.

Some with be like 1.99. . .some with be 4.99. . .and some will even be 19.99. . .oh yea and some will be free

I can see paying upwards of $10 dollars but find it hard to believe an app would be worth more than that.

Of course, it would be nice if there was a list some where to see what one could expect on launch day to form a better opinion.
