Hi I put an AVI from someone's digi cam into iMovie and for some reason I thought that when you import movies the frames are broken up for you so you can edit them. I know in Adobe Premier this is the case, but is iMovie a program that won't let me take an AVI import it and remove certain frames?

imovie will place it in the clip windows , you can slice it as many times as you like in there.

once you have chopped the avi into pieces drag them to the timeline

Oh so is there a program that will take it frame by frame for me?
