.avi to .mov converter?

Is there a program that converts .avi files to .mov files, so that they can be added to iTunes?

only if it'll read the file. if it's avi it's more than likely it wont without some extra junk. plus quicktime pro is $30. ffmpegx has full functionality (i think) for free.

I have the older divx codec. It works more often than not. And you get alot for that $30. On the other hand, there are free alternatives. Not familiar with that program, but I have heard of it. Do you have a Mac or a PC opoppe? Because that can make a difference too.
