only if it'll read the file. if it's avi it's more than likely it wont without some extra junk. plus quicktime pro is $30. ffmpegx has full functionality (i think) for free.

I have the older divx codec. It works more often than not. And you get alot for that $30. On the other hand, there are free alternatives. Not familiar with that program, but I have heard of it. Do you have a Mac or a PC opoppe? Because that can make a difference too.
