First off, If I'm in the wrong forum I truly apologize but I've been searching around for a few days for an AVID rumors site and can't find anything substantial. And since MacRumors is THE BEST site for Apple rumors I thought I'd see what anyone knows.
What I've heard...Avid has a big announcement for the end of this month. It's regarding possibly abandoning the hardware side of things. Which leads to a possible merger/partnership with AJA.
We already know that Avid pulled out of NAB to save the couple million dollars it takes to support their booth at NAB...or will they join the AJA booth...who knows?....seriously....do you know?
