In the Depths of the SLC!
Ok, so I was doing boot camp, and i was at the part to partitoin. A long time went by, then said it cannot be completed, open Disk Management, so to my Utilitys I go.

I open disk management, run VERIFY DISK and it goes by, and at the very end it says First Aid cannot do anything...

"Volume header needs minor repair.
The volume Macintosh HD needs to be reparied.

Error: The underlying task reported failure on exit

1HFS Volume checked
Vlume needs repair"

Is my disc damaged, like physically? Or is it the partitioning? Would a reinstall of OS/X fix it? I jus reinstalled it a few days ago, but I'm used to reinstalling over and over (I have XP).

Do I need to go to Apple Store to get this fixed?

You canot repair your boot volume when booted from that volume. Boot from your installer DVD and run Disk Utility + repair drive.

Well, did it and it was able to be repaired.

I'm in the partition phase of the boot camp, waiting to see if it works....

Tick tock, tick tock tick tock.... Ding, Partition done!

But, I have the same damned problem, over and over, I'm gettin so pissed...

"Press R to perform a system restore partition" I have no keyboard support, I press R, I press Enter, I press R on my USB keyboard, I press Enter on my USB Keyboard, this is so dumb. I'ts like it saying, keyboard cannot be found, press any key to continue.

Anyone know anything about this, I ask all over the forums, but no one wants to help me.
