This is depressing. I had heard about this before, but am depressed that carrier issues allowed them to 'wag the Apple dog' on roaming. It really doesn't make much sense, especially considering that the iPhone can roam. Or is roaming with an iPhone now impossible too?

You don't have to activate the LTE feature. It only prompts you once during initial setup to ask if you want to setup Cellular.
Now on getting it activated on your old plan, we have had good success getting it done. It just takes a little extra work on your end. What exact plan do you have?

I have the 'Nation 900 With Rollover' plan. I'd hate to give it up, although they always pounce on me at the local store to change it.

And apparently I can have more than one Apple Watch at a time. That's cool. I don't want to end up beating on the Space Black so soon.
