Awaiting a call/email from Apple

I've been waiting for a call/email from Apple regarding my replacement MacBook Pro. The person I talked to said I should get one today. I'm pretty anxious about this, since I need it as soon as possible. Should I call them, or should I wait till they call/email me? If I do wait, what time whould they usually call/email me?

good news! when I sent apple an e-mail they said it would take 24 hours to reply, they weren't wrong 23 hours 57 minutes.
