I recently picked up a powermac G3 B+W at a local junk shop, sans any memory or hard disks. When i plug it in and attempt to see if it will boot period, the PSU turns on, the front LED turns on, and i get one low beep(sounds melodic, not like a random bad signal is being sent to the speaker) but the monitor does not turn on at all. any ideas, or do you think i can't save this one?

Replace the PRAM battery - should be US$8 - 10 from Radioshack or apple dealer.
1/2AA 3.6V Lithium cell.

Thanks alot. I was gonna think about checking this, but i really haven't messed with this computer at all. It might be a problem finding this battery without getting it shipped, tho, as i'm living in japan at the moment. thank you much! I actually wasn't expecting this quick of an answer, considering that it's about 1:30 AM over there
