Nobody knows when refurb units will pop up. If you need one soon, you should buy it new with the discount.

hints, guesses, tips?

i just thought maybe someone has experience with the usual time it takes for new products to appear as refurb, and likewise with the price of those....
let's say i'd wait (since "needing" is a loose term), would the price to be expected be more than 100USD less?
just looking for hints...

Refurbs of Apple products typically start showing up 6 weeks after the initial launch, unless there is some major problem they have to fix. But there's no set date or anything.
