I found out that i'm not allowed to use the $100 rebate to purchase microsoft office 2011 but I only can use that to purchase iWork~~ Can i use the $100 rebate to purchase office 2011 in retail shop?

When they announced the apps store gift card instead of an iPod, the first thing I did was look for Office in the app store. Having not found that, I looked for Warcraft 3 or Starcraft 2...

...In the end, I decided that I'd just use it to update to Lion on the rest of my computers and wait for iPhoto '12.

Only if you buy the mac at Best Buy and get their $100 gift card. The Mac App Store gift card that you got with your computer is only good on Apple's various app stores.
