Hey everyone,

I’ve had my iPhone 16 Pro Max for about 4 months now, and I’ve recently noticed something weird. When I press on the back glass, it makes this strange noise that I can hear even from around 9 feet away. It seems to come from the top half of the back glass near the cameras and the apple logo.

Other than that, the phone works perfectly fine and I haven’t dropped it or anything. Whats odd is that the sound doesn’t always happen sometimes its there, sometimes its not.

I’ve also tried this with some of my friends’ iPhones. A few of them make the same noise, but most of them don’t.

I found a video on Reddit by u/SolidPrimay that shows the exact sound:

Seems you have multiple Apple products that make noise when you press on the back of them. MacBook Pro and iPhone 16PM. How did you even find this issue? I have never pressed on the back of any of my devices with enough force to cause a "clicking" noise.. Just seems like you would have to press on the back deliberately with force to cause this to happen
