hey all,

is it possible to get the iOS 4 back on my iPhone.

the contacts are not syncing to my mac book - address book either way.

photos are going crazy .....

i cloud not working...... and i doubt i will use it in future. 825 contact got down to 124 with iCloud. what a nightmare.


pls. help.

You can't downgrade iOS unless you have saved your SHSH. If you are asking "what is SHSH?" it's too late. It needed to be done before iOS 5 was released.

Anyway, even if you could downgrade to iOS 4, at this point, I doubt that alone would bring back your contacts. To see if you can get them back, we need more info on how you were handling your contacts under iOS 4. Were you syncing them with your computer? Or with google or another such service? Are the contacts still on your MacBook, or are they gone from there too? Do you have a backup of your iPhone from before you updated to iOS5?

hey,

yes, i was syncing contacts with my mac book pro with address book.

i was not syncing them with google or any other thing.

mac book contacts are there.

iphone contacts restored manually.

but the changes i make to iPhone is not transferred to my mac or vice versa.
