Back of iPad same as the aluminum on the keyboard/mouse?

Or is one more durable than the other, or a different grade of aluminum or something? Thanks
 
Second who cares. But for what it's worth after two months of heavy use and traveling the back of my iPad has zero scratches on the alum. I do not use a case, just the naked iPad.
