I am trying to setup Back Tap based on the instructions on this page: https://www.iphonehacks.com/2021/02/cool-ios-14-features.html

However, unless I am misunderstanding how it is supposed to work, it is not doing anything for me. When I am in a screen, even the settings screen I expect to double tap somewhere on the screen for it to take me back to the previous setting screen and nothing works. Anyone know how this is supposed to work?

Thanks

wow, I would have never figured that out. I have screenshot working and I have home working, though I do not see the option to select to just go back. Which option is that?
Thanks

I need to work on my reading comprehension...my whole interest in this was my interpretation that "back tap" meant to go back a screen and not tapping the back of the phone. Thanks for the replies

iOS is not like Android where you can go back universally. For example you can go back from Safari to Mail if you opened a link in mail then you can go back by touching shortcut on upper left corner.
