I guess I'm hesitant and unsure about buying from Humble because I don't know anything about them. Who are they? Is Humble the name of the company? Who are the owners?
I have been purchasing Humble Bundles for a long time and they are a reliable, reputable company that is pretty well known. I too am surprised you've not heard of them. People tend to announce to each other whenever they learn a new Humble Bundle is out. I am on their email list so I just get notified of that and other specials they run in their Humble store which as mentioned primarily sells Steam keys at attractive prices, mostly when you catch them on sales there. The simple way to keep apprised of these deals is just sign on for their mailing list. They do honor your privacy. I've not gotten spam since I did that. I am very selective about who gets my email for such purposes so I'd notice.
You can trust to have a good experience if you decide you want to shop there and take advantage of a bundle deal. In the current bundle, I paid 10 bucks for both Shadow Warrior and Outlast along with other included games. That's quite a good deal obviously and the big draw of these bundles.
Another nice thing is you get to choose how the money you spend is distributed among the following: 2 or more charities usually (I prefer Child's Play myself when possible), the Humble Bundle people to pay for their bandwidth, promotional costs and some profit hopefully for their efforts and last but not least the games themselves. Even there, you can decide which games get your money and how much. This bundle had some games I couldn't care less about so I gave them zero and allocated more of my 10 bucks to the games I did care about.
Humble Bundle has raised a lot of money for very worthy well known charities with their bundles. I like that a lot about them. I would encourage you to give them a try for this one and save a bunch on these two games plus get some others in the deal as well. Then you can see for yourself what you've been missing!
Once you have purchased a bundle, you have your own purchased items page where you can at any time download DRM free copies of the games along with soundtracks in some cases too as well as redeem your Steam keys. You are allowed to both redeem your keys and download a DRM free copy for yourself as well.
