My folks just got a new iMac.
I am trying to "take over" their iMac from my PowerBook in order to do remote maintenance and training for them. We both have MobileMe accounts.
I think I have everything set right with their and my routers, as both show "green" in the Back To My Mac area of the MobileMe control panel.
So now the question is how do I actually "take over" their Mac so that my mouse and keyboard control their Mac? Where is the interface where I type in their computer name? I keep reading about "Bonjour," but I see it nowhere on my Mac (looked for it with Spotlight). My Mac is PPC and theirs is Intel.
I used to use this great program called Timbuktu from which you'd just select "Connect" from a pull down meny and enter the IP of the remote computer. The remote computer would hear a door bell, and the user would hit "enter" to accept the connection. I was hoping for something this simple.
