I received a 100$ gift card and it says can be used in the iTunes store or Mac App store. So it can be used for purchasing songs and apps for Mac OS ? Can it be used to purchase apps for IOS or for purchases towards apple products ?

Anything that can be used in the mac App Store, iTunes store, can also be used in the App Store. Credits you have in one flow to the other two (trust me).
