A staff at an apple store told me that Apple might have this earlier than usual (late Dec instead of early Jan).

Oh I realised that back to school is year end for Europe and some other regions, but for my Asia region it’s June to Sep period. So can’t wait that long

last year the back to school promo commenced on 7 Jan.
