I'm waiting for a Macbook to be shipped at the moment, but I think I'm going to have it returned because I don't want to get it and then find out in a couple of weeks I could have got an iPod free or £100 off.
Last year, after the US Cram & Jam or Student Union (or whatever it was called) was announced Apple UK followed with a similar promotion.
So I called Apple Sales up and explained that I want it returned, they said this was fine and there would be no stocking or delivery fee. Then I spoke to the Education store who gave me no specific information but suggested that the UK does normally offer something similar "normally a couple of weeks after". I tried to get a time frame out of the guy by asking if it would be a week, a month etc but he didn't tell me anything else.
I guess all I'm asking is if anyone has anymore information on the promotion starting in the UK? any suggestions on a time frame maybe?
I'm pretty anxious to know how long it will be because I'm selling my iBook before the warranty expires, so while I'm waiting for this promotion I'll be without any computer.
