back to school promotion

Good day folks,

I decided not to wait anymore for the refresh and buy my 27' iMac but after reading some threads, it was suggested that the back to school promotion is right around the corner. (usually by end of May or early June)

My question is that if I wait and get the promotion for a 'free' ipod touch, would I be also eligible for the student discount? Currently student have about $100 off the iMac so if I buy with the promotion, will it still be valid? or because of the promotion, it will be cancelled?

I looked into the 2010 promotion and no reference to it.

As the first paragraph states that those who purchase throught the education channels qualify for the iPod rebate, you're already paying the education price.
