So with the hopeful release of the public beta today I've got a question, I'm playing a game that as of yet wasn't compatible with iOS 9 and would thus crash. So my question is this if I back up my phone to my Mac will all my save data be backed up as well? I don't want to lose my progress in the game. There's no cloud back up for the game either it's the first Final Fantasy which doesn't have the option to save the data to the cloud.

Backups generally back up everything. When my old iPad broke and I got a new one, I went onto my 2048, and it was carried on from where I last left off. It was that accurate. Not sure if it would be that exact if you do an iTunes backup, but there is no reason why it wouldn't.
Hope that helps.

I'm not too concerned with the when, I'm more interested on will I have to restart my game over if I have to restore the iPhone. I've put in hours of game play and don't want to have to start from scratch again.
