I have 25gb of storage on my iCloud account as I use an iPad and iPhone 6. Less than a quarter of it is full.

My kids both have iPod touches and each only have the free 5gb of storage on their iCloud and they're both full so there is no more room to store stuff.

Instead of me paying to upgrade their iCloud storage on their devices, is there any way I can back up their devices so that it saves to my iCloud storage? Is just a simple of case of signing into my iCloud storage account within the settings on their iPod touches?

Yes, you can do that. Just remember that it will give them access to all your other iCloud services (like mail, contacts etc.) as well. You may want to enable Restrictions and block access to the account settings on their devices.

....hmm, in that case, sounds like it's gonna be a PITA to do!!! If I sign into my iCloud on their devices, won't there contacts, photos, etc, all be deleted and replaced with my stuff?!

All I want to do is just back up their stuff to my iCloud storage!!!

:S

You can't mix and match iCloud services from two different accounts, so if they use their own services, what you want is not possible.

Of course they could use old-fashioned backup to a computer via USB- or Wifi-Sync ...

Hmm, in that case, seems like the only option is to get them to buy their own storages on iCloud!! The cheapest option says £0.79 a month for 20gb of storage. Probably the best option!!
