Back up of new iPad mini A17 Pro to iCloud... shows blank icon on iPhone 16.. iOS 18

Any ideas here about why the backup icon for my iPad mini A17 Pro, showing in the iCloud on my iPhone 16, renders as a blank icon. It shows an image on the iPad itself for the iCloud backup there Is this some glitch that happens with new devices and resolves eventually? It is not a showstopper but moving from iOS 18.01 to iOS 18.1 has not fixed it.

EDIT Deleted backup… and done a new backup. Problem persists.

Guessing this is unique to me as nobody else chirped in. I will live with it... it might resolve in time 🤞🏻
