Yes, if you didn't encrypt the backup. Sorry, I don't have the link but the Apple support site lists that locations of the backups and then can be deleted.

if the backup is encrypted then no he can not access it. Did you do a sync or Just the backup. If you did a sync then it is possible that they are in iphoto.
If you did just the backup i dont know if the photos end up anywhere, but i am not really sure on that.

If you backed up your phone and didn't encrypt he could PERHAPS, restore his phone with your backup, or find a third party software to snoop. But, really if you can't trust your friend with a backup on his computer then really why be his friend?

Unless there was some sort of security risk of the nation/corporation/spies or whatever, and by the off chance some hacker knew you backed up the info on your friends computer and somehow hacked it out. But if that was the case, then you wouldn't be here. You would be in a dungy russian basement being worked on by a One eyed russian named Sergei.....with pliers and a blow torch....yes....spies are a dangerous trade...

oh....anyway yeah....but really if its just you took a picture of your junk and forgot to delete it, its prolly not a big deal.
