Hi all. I had a background image on my imac. On a recent "restart", the background is now all white but the image is still selected in the "system preferences". In fact, if I restart, it shows the bg image right before the screen goes dark.

Is something else putting the white screen over my image then ?

Thanks..

Resolved !

Duuhh.. I went backwards to see what I installed, last to first.. I had installed "InstantShot" screen grabber and had the "show background info" preference checked.. (Why ? Dunno..)

But I unchecked it and bingo.. Back to normal...

Thanks..
