Just wondered if this was possible, or even an out of the box feature?

Need to keep my powerbook home area backed up, and wondered, with a 60gb Ipod whether it was possible to sync not only itunes but the whole dir? Thereby I suppose doing an incremental backup each time its connected?

Or is this the stuff of dreams..... ;)

Havent done it yet, but I'm pretty sure you can have your iPod mounted as a drive, and then just backup to it. I think the settings to have it mounted as drive are either in iTunes, or System Prefs....

Thanks (I think).

I had tried the search, but without such success.

I live and learn though.

i have found that doing a search on google or yahoo works best, just include "macrumors" as part of the search. it seems to work quite well.

In google, if you include "site:macrumors.com" or even better yet, "site:forums.macrumors.com" it will limit the search to only that site. This will only return hits that have been posted since the last time google indexed macrumors. Beware, it does not include the most recent posts.
