Backing up an app no longer on the app store

Hey everyone! Is there any way to back up an app thats no longer in the app store so that I can put it on my next iPhone? I had not realized that backing up apps in iTunes wasn't an option anymore.

If you haven’t deleted your downloaded app from your computer, you can still restore to your new iPhone as long as it is not iPhone 8/Ex. Otherwise, you are pretty much out of luck.

You could try the app iMazing. I've heard good things about it, but haven't gotten it for myself yet. And no, I'm not affiliated with the app in any way.
