iPad Pro Backing Up iPad?

I'm about to upgrade to iOS 11 on my iPad Pro, but I want to back it up before proceeding with this. I just updated iTunes to the latest version (12.7.1.14) and can't find how to do the backup anymore.

Can someone help me out on how to backup my iPad Pro (12.9) now?

You back up just like always. Hit the backup button on the iPad pane in iTunes. The only think you can't do in the current version of iTunes is install or update apps. That has to be done in the device itself -- huge PITA if you have multiple iDevices, yes.

Thanks. The problem was that I wasn't seeing the iPad pane. A computer restart did the trick.
