I have filled my iMac with photos videos and a bunch of programs. Now I would like to only backup the most important part of my hard drive, my digital photo's to an external drive. Preferably I would like to do it on a schedule at night. Is there a program that would do this?

Do you subscribe to .Mac? If you do you can use their backup program.
I like it because you can specify exactly what you want to back up, how you want to back it up and if you want to do the backup on a specific schedule.
If you don't have .Mac, from what I have read in these posts, there are other programs out there that do the same thing.

I personally use SuperDuper, but that's because I backup my entire hard drive. You might want to take a look at iBackup.
