After getting the 11A494a update, the backlight goes funny on boot. The fancy curtain effect doesn't turn off. After entering and resuming from sleep, it's all working again. Anyone else experiencing this?

Running on a MacBook Pro (15-inch Early 2008).

Yeah same issue, every boot from restart or shut down. Doesn't happen on sleep. My temporary fix is to unplug and force sleep with lid shut then re-open then increase screen brightness.

Seems to happen to 2008 MBP. Mine is 17inch 08 with hi-res glossy screen option 1920x1200 and Nvidia.

Then it's probably linked to the 1st gen. LED backlit displays or something. Hopefully they'll get it right in the next build!

On a side note, I just got my two-finger back/forward controls working again. By rebooting. Strange.

This build on a fresh install works fine other than fullscreen bug where sometimes it will throw itself into fullscreen on the home space. I've had no swipe bugs as of yet. Lets hope they're sorted soon enough for our poor 3yr olds!
