Ross Henderson macrumors member Apr 6, 2006 51 0 Aug 23, 2006 #2 That happens when there is no need for the backlight, (it's daytime!). It's weird that Mac OS X just refuses to do what you tell it to, I would imagine you could find an application or script somewhere that could do the job though.
