Hi,

Just wanted clarification about the ambient light sensor for the keyboard...

I just purchase a MBP 15" C2D a week ago and noticed that when the keyboard is lit up, there's no glow around the spacebar. I know that there is no lettering on the spacebar button itself to illuminate, but why is there no glow underneath?

If I'm eye-level with the keyboard, all the keys have light showing underneath, except the spacebar. I hope this is normal.

Please clarify that your MacBook Pros share the same characteristics.

:)

I noticed this the other night as well. I thought it was kind of a cool design feature actually. All the other lights outline the space bar and since they decided not to write the word "space" (duh) on it, makes sense that they not put lights under it...
