Hi,

I've orderd a MacBook Pro 1.83 and eagerly awaiting it's shipping date on the 15th of February :)
In the meantime I've been looking for a Backpack suiting my needs and came up with this one:

Boa.XM[system]: http://www.booqbags.com/Detail.bok?no=366

They've already updated their page and mention a Vyper M2 sleeve that fits the MacBook "like a glove" :)

Does anyone have any experience with this backpack?
What do you think about it?
How do you plan carrying your MacBook Pro?

greets philipp

I've ordered a Monolith from Tom Bihn to slip inside an existing back pack. I've got one for my existing PowerBook that is so good I've ordered another. Size 4x is just for the MacBook so I'm expecting a perfect fit.

I second the Tom Bihn... I've got one for my iBook (see my sig)... excellent products... the fit and finish is something to see - only the best materials, and designed with a lot of thought. Usually, the larger companies design their bags with no in-depth studies. Tom lives with each bag and experiments before coming out with a model. And it shows. I'm highly satisfied, and my next bag purchase, should I need one, will be a Tom Bihn. Btw., I have no association with T.B. other than a satisfied customer.

Another Tom Bihn

I have the Size 4 Brain Cell in my Brain Bag, and I do not like the look nor orientation of the Monolith. Have any of you new owners of the MacBook Pro tried putting it into the old Size 4 Brain Cell? They say it won't fit, but I have my doubts.

Booq

I have a Booq backpack... they are amazing... highly recomended... even has a slit for the ipod earphones to come out of it and a secure place for it to fit... the macbook pro sleeve, there are two different one available are perfect... it fits like a glove

They have a specific macbook pro size for the brain cell (4X). But sadly, it doesn't fit the Brain bag! I use the Brain cell/Brain bag combo with my Powerbook too. I don't think I could use anything else for traveling, hopefully they'll update the dimensions of the back pack as well.

Well, I have a Powerbook and use a Timbuk2 Commute bag for it. It's really great. They say it fits the MacBook Pro now, so I would take a look at that. The one I have fits the Powerbook perfectly, really snug and nice. It's not a backpack as much as it is more of a messenger bag, but it's pretty awesome in my opinion.

I have one too. Agreed.

I got the incase sling pack a while back. Been waiting for the macbooks for it to have something to hold :)
