Backpack suggestions for MacBook Pro

I am searching for a carrying case for my new MBP.

My preferences are

a) a backpack (I find them more comfortable than a messenger bag at the hip)
b) conservative/professional styling for use at the office
c) either

- will allow use of the Bihn Brain cell -

if using the Brain cell the bags internal laptop protection becomes less important

or

- has excellent laptop protection built in

As an aside, do any of the bags offer protection/padding for accessories such as mice?
