So, I'm looking for a backpack that can carry my macbook (in a sleeve) as well as a pair of cycling shoes. I am going to be biking around 3 miles to work and would like to carry the addition shoes somehow outside or in some nice contraption. Has anyone seen a nice looking backpack to do this?

I don't know if there's a specific bag for the very thing you've mentioned, but TimBuk2 bags tend to have lot's of storage and are very Mac friendly. Can be kind of expensive at around $100 or more, but I've always been impressed by the quality.
