Hi folks,

can someone point me to the exact specs if the Backplane Screws 922-8896 ?

they measure 3.5 mm but I didnt find fitting ones in my collection. Seems they are not english / US Types. As an European I am not too common with that specs.

I need quite a few. Those eBay guys sell 5 to 10 and shipping costs are enormous.

I would measure (schieblehre) the outer diameter of the thread and the distance between the threads ( measuring 10 threads dividing by 10) .
There are not so many types of threads besides metric.
I'm sure a screw specialized supplier can offer you a box of lets say 100 pcs for the price you'd pay for a few on Amazon, eBay etc.

I found a couple of places that listed the screw as M3.5x7.5mm.

I am not sure about the thread pitch, I tried a couple of 3.5 mm screws and no fitted really.

Of course no inch screws like used on 3,5" hard drives, the thread pitch is much higher on them.
