Backup all Installed Packages WITHOUT AptBackup?

I was wondering if there was a way to backup a list of all packages installed though Cydia, so after you've restored and re-jailbroken you can just place the file back and re-install them again.

So really, I'm looking for an alternative from AptBackup, because although it's useful, it doesn't restore all packages.

Does anyone know of a way, or where a file is located that has the list? So I can just replace it in Cydia after my restore, open up Cydia, tap on installed packages, and re-install them. Can anyone think of some possible issues with doing this? :confused:

What packages didn't AptBackup restore for you? I've had no issues with it so far. :)

Modifications and such, that don't appear on the SB. It does backup most things, but I was wondering if I could get a way to restore *everything*. Themes, the lot.

Weird, my themes got backed up and restored just fine. :)

Well yeah, since AptBackup doesn't back anything up, just a listing of stuff. So it will just backup the listing of a Theme packages downloaded via Cydia. :)
 
To my surprise, when I opened WinterBoard some themes were there this time, but only about a quarter. Seems strange it will only restore some things, but not others. I wonder what the issue is...

Were all the themes downloaded from Cydia? Or were some per chance downloaded from the web and transferred to the iPhone via SSH/SCP?
