Backup and Sync from Google doesn't work anymore

I download the latest version from their website and when I open the application I get this message:
Update to the latest version of Backup and Sync to access new and improved features.
When I click on "got it" the application quits. I can't synchronize anymore.

Version 3.45 from 27 june 2019 works. This is later than https://www.techspot.com/downloads/6989-google-backup-and-sync.html (3.45 from 22 june) and a download link from 3.44 on the site of Google. Why can't they update their links to the correct latest version?
Problem solved.
