Well I thought that’s what Appbackup was for but turns out it only backs up data from app store apps. I guess that will help to back up data and game high scores and such but I’m looking for something that’ll backup cydia apps. Any ideas or suggestions?

The issue is that a lot of Cydia apps, which use MS for example, can't really be backed up; however, others like MxTube can be.

Its a pain but its best to install fresh. AptBackup is really good for backing up your app-specific data so you can set your phone up as a new device without loosing all your data.

Ahh! got it. So after installing it, I just click "backup", right? Seems awfull simple.

I imagine I need to install all the repos first right? Is there a way to back up the repo list?

Yes, it will back up a list of your jailbroken apps. If you need to restore, download AptBackup first and then click restore and it will start the download process to get your apps back. :)
