Backup From PC to Mac

Hi,

Could anyone advise please?

Some of my folders from my PC I mirror with my MacBook Pro. I use a bit of software called Goodsync and what is happening is this; I backup from the PC to the Mac and for example I have three folders. Two of them are fine but the one folder which has my Ableton Live files locks up.

So Yosemite places a lock on each folder. I can go into the info of each folder and uncheck it but it will do it everytime but not always the same folders.

If I were to delete the folders and then manually copy them across from the PC there is no problem at all.

Goodsync have informed me that it is a Mac issue.

I don't have a password on the Mac so there is no issue of connecting to it form the PC.

Sounds like an ownership/permission problem. What are those permissions? compare them to a folder that does NOT have those issues and use those settings.
