I have an iPhone X backup made on iTunes. It’s 77GB but my current iPhone is a 64GB model. Is there a way to workaround this? I don’t need the apps, I just care about the photos. I have heard the suggestion of deleting the folders inside the backup but I don’t know exactly what I would be deleting since the folders are not specifically labeled.

Any help?

Do an iCloud backup or delete apps from the X before making an iTunes backup.

iMazing or some other alternative app is the only solution I guess. It has an option to exclude apps/data from the restore.

Edit: p.s. Deleting files from the backup folder is always a bad idea, 99% that it will lead to backup corruption.
