Backup Locked Iphone

My iphone is refusing to accept my fingerprint or my password. When I hook it to itunes, it won't let me backup or restore, even though I have previously synced this phone to this computer. It's supposed to sync to the computer it's synced before without a password, but that isn't working either. I don't know what to do.

How can I backup and restore my iphone? IOS 10. Iphone SE

Apparently there is a way to back up in DFU mode? Does anyone have suggestions for software that works in DFU mode?
